NALS Membership FAQs
Membership Rate:
Within the past 10 years, NALS has added the
following programs and services for its members: the
website, www.nals.org; the
leadership manual, known as NALS.org, which evolved from a
3-ring binder to an online tool for leaders; e-news, e-learn,
leading the way; the online learning center; capability for
committees to meet online; the NALS community (both former
Community and new Community); BLOGS, including conference blogs
and "Inside NALS".
In addition to the NALS WebEd webinars, online
training course, NALS is also working to add new products and
services. Some of those new products and services will be
a new manual, "Competent Legal Secretary," and the ability to
access your membership data straight from the NALS website.
To keep up with rising costs, there will be a
slight dues increase of 67 cents a month -- to cover increased
costs. The $8/year increase will be effective with the
May mailings which are the August renewals.
In regards to HLSP: the new member dues
will be $118.00; and the renewals will be $108.00.
